⚙️My 97+ ATAR Routines

These got me ahead of 99% of students...

Achieving a 95+ ATAR is NOT just about your study techniques.

It’s NOT just about getting the work done everyday and then relaxing after it.

Yes, obviously, all of that is required for success…

But do you want to know the biggest separator between top and low performers?

It’s what they do when no one is watching.

Top performers have productive routines that they follow and they run their lives.

Low performers simply let their life run them, and they have no routines.

During year 11 and 12, I followed a morning, evening, study and night routine that allowed me to go from being a D-student who used to play games all day, to destroying all my competitors and scoring a 97+ ATAR and DUX.

Could I have achieved this massive success without my routines?

NOPE.

Why?

Because these routines that I followed allowed me to get all my study done, and also gave me time to upgrade my mind and health — which both have a direct correlation to results.

In today’s post, I’ll share with you my proven daily routine that helped me score a 95+ ATAR and become a top student.

REMEMBER THIS:

These routines truly changed my life and allowed me to get ahead of 99% of students.

Actually try to implement them into your life.

At first, they will be difficult to follow, but persevere!

🌅 Morning

  1. Wake up at 5-6:30am and make my bed

  2. Drink water

  3. Have a shower (of course, not everyday)

  4. Go outside and look at the sun

  5. Journal (sometimes I’ll meditate based off of my anxiety levels)

  6. Make a coffee

  7. Read for 30 minutes

  8. Read goals aloud (including ATAR, uni, career and my ‘why’)

  9. Start studying!

🏫 Evening (after-school)

  1. Get back home by 3:15pm

  2. Change into comfy clothes (important)

  3. Exercise (at least 3x per week)

  4. Eat

  5. Rest until 4-4:30pm

  6. Study from 4-4:30pm to 9pm — this included breaks of course

✍️ Study

  1. Make a coffee and fill up water bottle

  2. Organise desk and make it clean (clean desk = clean mind)

  3. Write down my to-do list with precision — specific, detailed and time constrained

  4. Open up everything I need for the study session/first task (tabs, textbook, pens, etc)

  5. Play rain sounds in the background (I listened to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q76bMs-NwRk)

  6. Open up the forest app and start a 50 minute timer

  7. After 50 minutes of deep study, take a 10 minute break

  8. Repeat this until 4 hours have elapsed

  9. Check off my to-do list as I go

🌃 Night

  1. At 9pm, stop all work

  2. Read goal aloud

  3. Change into comfy clothes

  4. Make a warm cup of tea

  5. Sit alone with my thoughts and reflect on the day (journal)

  6. Get in bed by 9:30-9:45pm

  7. Read a fiction book in bed (depending on how tired I am)

  8. Write down my to-do list for the next day (top 3-5 things I must complete)

  9. Hang tomorrow’s clothes in the bathroom

  10. Visualise a productive tomorrow & sleep

There you go…

I’ve given you the secret.

Will you take action?

I hope so 🙂
