The HSC timetables are out!
How exciting, am I right?
Don’t worry, I know how stressful it is to have your HSC timetable revealed. But, it doesn’t have to be this way.
In today’s newsletter, I will share with you four things to do right now with your timetable to make sure that you’re maximising your efforts and increasing your chances of success!

Table of Contents
📆 Step 1: Schedule in All Exams
The first step is to schedule in all your exam dates into your calendar. Additionally, on a blank piece of paper, write your exam dates and then stick it next to you so that you can always see it.

Example
By scheduling in your exam dates, you’re becoming self-aware of when you need to start preparing and how long left till your HSC exams — this will also boost motivation!
✅ Step 2: Create a to-do list
For each subject, create a to-do list of all the tasks you need to complete.
Note: You might not be able to do this right now since you have not completed all the content and you haven’t sat your trial exams. However, if you know what you need to do, write it down. If you don’t, do this step after trials!

⌛️ Step 3: Plan your study
From now, create a timeframe of when you want to start your dedicated preparation for the HSC exams. For example, you may want to start intense preparation 1 week after your trial exams.
After your trial exams, you want to create a detailed study timetable for yourself to follow, which includes what you’re going to be doing each day leading up to your final exams.
By creating this timeframe, you’re once again becoming self-aware of when you need to start your preparation which will give you more clarity and confidence.
🧠 Step 4: Remind Yourself
This step is the scariest, but the most effective.
Write down the number of days left till your HSC exams begin, which as of writing this post is 167 days. Then, every day, check this day off.
For example, today write 167. Then, tomorrow write 166 — do this everyday.
Additionally, if you haven’t done this already, remind yourself of your goals.
What is your goal ATAR? What is your goal University course?
By constantly reminding yourself of how long you have left till your marathon finishes and your goals, your motivation will boost and you will not be wasting as much time as you otherwise would.
